Updated- 9.11.13
The sneak peeks have started early on Ipsy's facebook page since we have a holiday coming. so I can start the fun guessing game and get my spoilers going!

I will update the post as Ipsy release sneak peeks so check back often!

A blend or quick brush of color is an easy timeless upgrade to any look!
Spoiler- Looks like more goodies from NYX and I am not mad at that... though not a fan of the color from the sneak peek that looks to be "White" or "Pearl White" from the NYX site here.
Also, this was emailed to a few Ipsy members in a "come back to us" email  so it is confirmed that it is NYX eyeshadow :)
This must-have product has been a classic staple for every bombshell since its invention!
Spoiler- From the makers of the "Lash Card" that we got in February's bag "It's So Big Volumizing Mascara" looks to be it! Even on their site has ipsy in the url... so I think it is safe to say that this is one of the goodies coming.
There's no limit of classic looks you can create with three of these gorgeous staples in your September Glam Bag!
1. One of these goodies is clearly a Cailyn pot, it has a bit of a red hint so it may be thisgoodie in "BIG APPLE".
2.A may be lipgloss lipstick found here that I am hoping is in the color "orange squeeze" if it is true though I think I am wrong on that one.
3. There are liners/brow pencils, one looks like a Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner from Stila found here.
4. A few types of foil packets, the green and pink one look to be from here.
5. The only think I can think of for the red tubes is John Frieda, there is a red tube John Frieda product on ipsy so I am thinking that might be it. Also, the bottom of the tube says "heat st" from what I can see and on the John Frieda tubes it does say "heat styling" in the same spot so it looks like we have a winner!
6. The bottom left looks like another chella and maybe a  lip crayon goodie.
No matter the time or the season, this month's Glam Bag will be a classic print you're going to fall in love with!
Spoiler- Ipsy, I guess made an oops  and posted the bag on the site already so here it is!
How do you like it? I think it is too cute and having "Ipsy" on the zipper is too cute!

So with the bag being shown that usually means the sneak peeks are over and they should start shipping soon. We will get 4 to 5 sample or full-sized beauty amazing products.

August 2013 Ipsy Glam Bag Review!

After a long wait my Ipsy bag has finally made it too me.
Boy did DHL take my bag on a ride this month, it was in Phoenix AZ for 4 whole days (only 40 minutes from me) but then took a trip Compton Ca and hung out there a few days! I noticed Ipsy has been sending better goodies since switching to DHL but the delivery is so slow with them! I love doing the challenges that start around the 13th of the months and end on the 30th so I only have 5 days to enter and get hopes if I hope to win! That said, the box is only $10 shipped so if I'll zip it at the price :)
Anyway, here are the good that I got this month.
Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick
Pixi Beauty Lash Booster Mascara in Blackest Black
MicaBeauty Eye Shadow in Bronze
Michael Todd Jojoba Charcoal Gentle Exfoliating Facial Scrub
Pacifica Alight Multi-Mineral BB Cream
I got a bonus item which was this awesome polish!
Here is the mascara and and shadow together. I love the shadow, didn't think I'd like the color but I do! I was most excited for the mascara this month and a little worried that I would like it more then my go to mascara since it is $11 more but I am happy and a little sad to say that my Maybelline fave gets to keep it's spot in first place.
You can find my favorite here.
Another treat I was very excited for was this lipstick! I like it but I wish I had it while my hair was still pink and purple because this pink is a bit much with my red hair. The lipstick is lovely though and I will be using this on a fun night out!
Over all I am very happy with the bag, love all the goodies I got and can't wait to use the other items later this week.

If you are a member of Ipsy, what did you get?
What was your favorite item(s) this month?

20 Things You Didn't Know About Me!

Elaine has been used in my family for the past 11 generations and I am the first to have it as a first name :)
I keep buying fancy journals but I never use them, been doing it since I was a teen.
I love comfort food and biggest weakness is southern fried chicken with some country gravy.
I used to wear only dresses when I was a kid and would ruin them by climbing trees.
I like watching murder mysteries way too much!
My first crush was on Val Kilmer from Willow.
I had a short modeling career, I was in a commercial and a magazine ad around 2006... I didn't get paid for either and both ran for a few months.
I have a macaroni noodle with cheese dripping from it tattooed behind my right ear.
On June 11, 1993 my family went to the movies, I thought we would be seeing Cool Running but instead we saw Jurassic Park. I was so upset that I cried in the back for about 20 minutes into the movie before I realized how awesome it was.
I loved Jurassic Park so much that 9 years ago when I got my first tattoos it was of raptor claws on my wrists.
My last name means 'book binder' in Yiddish.
I hated cranberries until last year, now I love them and eat them almost every day.
I didn't wear makeup until I started an internship at a vintage stop, I was 17 years old.
I am from Long Beach California.
I can make a killer pot roast, an oh so good cheesecake, the chewiest cookies but I can not boil a noodle to save my life!
I like playing StarCraft.
I use to wear only blue polish on my toes when I was a teen.
I went to 9 different schools from k-12.
My favorite color is pink but here and there I switch it to yellow, currently it is yellow.
I have very small hands and feet for being 5'7" tall, my shoe size is 5.5 and I wear kids gloves... and socks.

That is that, 20 random things about me!
If there is anything you would like to know or have a random question feel free to ask in the comments below and feel free to tell me something about you, I am always curious about the folks that stop by my blog:)
Or if you are feeling up to it make a blog of your owe with 20 things about yourself.

Inspired by Nails- Elleandish's Marc Jacobs Daisy Nails

This is an inspired by inspired by look :)
In Elleandish latest video she did a Marc Jacobs Daisy inspired look, I thought it was too perfect and had to give it a try. The only change aside from using different polish was the shape of my nails since I am on a stiletto nails kick.
I used Frappe by Nailtini for my base.I used 3 coats on my index and pinky finger and 2 on my thumb and middle.
Oscar and Kathleen by Julep for my accent nail.
Studs that can be found here for the flower centers and base of my nails.
And finished off with my favorite top coat by Seche Vite!
You can see how I did these stiletto nails without acrylic in my older post here!

Mani Monday- Pearls and Polish

Happy Mani Monday!
After buying a few pretty lace dresses this weekend I was in a "pretty" mood so I went with sweet "Pearls and Polish" manicure this fine Monday!
I used my favorite nude polish "Frappe" from Nailtini as my base with, "Camille" by Julep on my accent nail, for my pearls I used my Konad stamping plate m77, and for my actual pearls I used flat back scrap booking pearl stickers.
I also topped it off with a coat of the lovely Seche Vite top coat!
Give it a try and post it on facebook and instagram using #LanieBuck
I'd love to see how it turns out if you give it a try!
Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoyed :)

DIY Easy Stiletto Nails with No Acrylic!

Stiletto Nails!
I have been wanting to try these but did not want to commit to having them just in case I hated them right away! Turns out I really like them but typing and using my phone is a pain! these will great for Halloween too :)
You will need think full press on nails like I used. I found mine at a local beauty store but you can find them online.
Nail glue- found mine at Target near the press on nails.
Nail clippers or scissors.
Polish, top coat & any nail art goodies you'd like to use.
Start by applying the nails on using the nail glue, try not to use too little or they will pop off and try not to use too much or it will. Try to apply the nail as close as you can to your cuticle for a more natural look.
Once the glue is dry and the nail seem secure in place cut the the nail in an angle from the middle to the edge. Try not to cut your nail while doing this, you can file to make it neat.
File done anything that needs filing, I like to round off the tips a bit.
Once you are happy with the look of the nails paint them how ever you please.
I used Paris and Lacey from Julep.
I wanted a little something else for a little more fun.
You can find the studs I used here.
I applied a little top coat at the base of my nails for the studs.
And using a dotting tool applied the studs.
Then fished it all with a top coat!
You can find this top coat here.
I am beyond happy with how they turned out!
 Hope you found this helpful.

I'd love to see if you give it a shot, @LanieBuck on instagram or facebook if you give it a try!
